Most Digi-paks consist of a gatefold/book style paperboard. Sometimes there can be more than just one gatefold. Another main part to a digi-pak is definitely the CD slot. Most digipaks have just one CD slot, but sometimes there can be a lot more folded together.
A digi-pak usually has additional things to promote and make it less boring, for example a photo-shoot, pictures of the artist/band or a lyric sheet tucked inside.
A advert usually makes someone want to buy the digi-pak.
