Mark Ronson featuring Lily Allen- Oh my god
In this music video Lily Allen's performance is exactly like Jessica's , from the film Who framed Roger Rabbit made in 1988. In this music video the ideas and borrowed from this film, the part
where Jessica is on stage. The film Who framed Roger Rabbit has animated cartoons in it, including Betty Boop and so on, but there are also real human beings(males). Just as is shown in this music video. Here are some very similiar shots from both texts.
Shots from the Lily Allen music video:
Shots from the film:As you can see, the music video with Lily Allen in it is almost like a copy of the film, although they're not completely similar. Jessica and Lily Allen's characters both do a similar kind of performance, and some shots are borrowed from the Who framed Roger Rabbit film, and put into the Oh my god music video. The producer of the music video played around with it, taking idea from the other text and made a amusing and playful music video. This made the Lily Allen music video fun and different to watch, and the references from the other text(film) matched well, as this type of animated, playful music video suits Lily Allen's personality.
Who framed Roger Rabbit 1988
Linkin Park-Breaking the habit.
It uses an anime-stylization which was supervised by Kazuto Nakazawa,
who had previously directed the animated segment of Quentin Tarantino's
Kill Bill Vol. 1 among other things. The video is a music video but is
in a cartoon/animated style. The graphic style in this music video is
intertextual. This music video would be attractive to teenagers, as it
is very fictional, plastic like, almost like a comic book. This music
video isn't like a normal, realistic, real life looking music video.

Californication -Red hot chilli peppers.
American rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers' 2000 hit
track Californication are intertextual attributes taken from influential
video games around at the time of the song's release, which include both Grand
Theft Auto and Tomb Rader, whilst the video for Norwegian pop band A-Ha!'s
1985 record Take On Me features an illustrated comic book style
throughout.
Shania Twain-Man I feel like a woman
Robert Palmer's 1986 record Addicted to Love is copied throught this music video. However the cloudy red background is nothing like the actual thing. Shania Twain is Palmer in this music
video though. Shania looks like a strong woman in this music video. These video's follow the idea of intertextuality made from Goodwin.
Labrinth's video includes characters from famous children TV shows and films. The
intertextuality used in this video makes the video a lot more entertaining. The music
video is entertaining for both children, and adults. The children will find it appealing
because of the characters they can recognise from their favourite TV programmes.
The adults will enjoy it because they will remember their child hood and what it was
like to be a child. Also young children will feel more confident in themselves, and
more expressive.
